This is a huge problem with the S21s by Canon. IT doesn't do any good to call Canon. They tell you to reset the camera back to default, as if we didn't do that already. Then they will tell you to send the camera in to their service dept. They will contact you on what is wrong with the camera. They will tell you, "you need a new screen and the chg's and labor are $190.00. The camera is only 3 yrs old and they won't recall this huge problem. You tell them, no don't fix it, I am going to contact BBB. Then you send a letter to BBB explaining what is going on and there are many complaints about this problem with this camera. BBB will contact Canon, Canon in return will call you and fix the camera for free. there ya go, takes a little bit of leg work, but hey...you just saved $190.00
