The terrapin (turtle) is a difficult pet to care for, but not impossible. He (or she) needs access to a wet area and a dry one, like a little lake (a netted area for outside) or a fish tank. This would need a filter, basking area, lights and warm water. You can find food for turtles in your local pet store. its better if you buy them when they are older as they have less chance of dying.
