Answer
There isn't really enough information to give a really good answer but I'll toss in my two cents. Relationships are tough so it really depends on BOTH people to maintain a relationship. Relationships are about give and take and COMMUNICATION if you have to ask the question I would say there is a problem with communication, probably with both of you. Sit your guy down and ask him what is wrong with us, then see what he says. If you are hearing things like you don't care about my feelings then perhaps you should listen, on the other hand if his feelings are all about sex and not about you or whatever maybe you don't want to maintain it. So in a nut shell if the guy is worth having sit him down and talk your problems out, do this and you will find a strong and long lasting love.
Answer
You arent the only one responsible for maintaining the relationship. You both deserve 100% from each other anything less is just settling for whats there. What should be being done by both of you is compassion, caring, consideration and courage in every moment and aspect of your relationship at all times. Its not hard to do. If your out and see something you guy mentioned he liked and you can afford it, get it for him, but dont spoil him. If your friends want to go out and you havent been able to spend alot of time with you boyfriend pass and catch up with them another time. If he's having a hard time at work, try to do something nice for him to make him feel you care about his issue. Have the courage to be honest with him at all times. Good luck and dont overthink it, these things should come naturally if there is true love.
