How do you make 3d shapes out of paper?

start with a long strip of paper

tie NEAR ONE END a knot

crease out the edges ****don't crease too hard

next take any little extra bit of paper from your knot and fold it over the edge of the pentagon you made

take th longer end and start wrapping it around the pentagon it will guide you so don't try to wrap it in any particular direction

tuck the last little bit under the wrapping

then pinch AROUND the corners so that it turns in to a star

Draw the net of a cube (picture below) on a piece of paper, cut it out and fold on the black lines. Put glue on the trapezium-shaped tabs to hold the cube together.
