In WORD (for mac) 2008 follow these steps:
If you are using MS Word 2003 then under 'file' menu select 'page setup' option and in 'margin' tab, you will find 'landscape or portrait'. Choose your option by clicking on it.
PS: In Microsoft works word processor, you follow the same directions up until the margin tab, you have to click Source, Size & Orientation and you will still find landscape or portrait.
2. Choose File > Page Setup, if it's available. Choose Page Attributes from the Settings pop-up menu, and then choose Any Printer from the Format For pop-up menu.
Choosing Any Printer ensures that your document can print on any printer that supports the paper size you select.
3. If Page Setup is not available, choose File > Print.
If the Print dialog contains only two pop-up menus and some buttons across the bottom, click the disclosure triangle beside the Printer pop-up menu.
4. Click the Orientation button that matches the way you want your document to print.
You can insert 'section break' from page layout group , then you can change the orientation of the pages. Of course, you can have more than one section break at the same documents.
Open it with word 2007 and then save it from Save as command
The document will need to be saved from the Mac's Word 2011 in a format that can be read by Word 2007. Microsoft are a law unto themselves and ignore standards and even their own established standard formats. Word 2007 was particularly problematical.
