The other poster said it straight and to the point. Some of the men I loved and knew I would date if they asked me out were not the male model types (these guys seem to have egos and are boring to me) and I found appealing and attactive were: Ernest Borgnine, Dan Blocker, George Kennedy, Robert Duval, Al Pacino. These men have what I call "charisma!" You can't explain it, it's just there.

Have confidence in yourself. Be sure you dress neatly (could be just jeans and a T-shirt when casual) keep your hair neat, etc., and that's that. Let your inner self shine through. Show your true self and you will never fail.

Don't under-estimate women. They are stubborn and they don't listen to their friends .. they go for who they want too and if you do what I have suggested before .. "People watch" you will see what I have said is true. A plain looking person with a beautiful girl or a handsome man. Most people are attracted to physical first, then after dating a little they start to realize that it's the person's heart and soul that counts.

When younger and dating I had a dear friend who was a male model. He was handsome, the tan, white, white teeth, green eyes and blond hair. Yet, the chemistry we had between us was just not right and we remained good friends until he married (a very plain young lady, but a dear) and they have been married for 40 years and had 3 children.

My husband of 33 years is 6' 6" tall, he's slim, has a great sense of humor, is there for me 100%, has so many other endearing ways, is gentle to both children and animals and has a personality plus. He is getting a little thin on top, still has a slim, trim build, but isn't a muscle man and I love him more than ever. Some say he looks like Clint Eastwood, but all I see is the man I fell in love with, married and feel blessed that I will spend whatever life I have left with him.
