Top: Foot Joint Middle: Body Bottom: Head Joint

Insert the open end of the head joint into the left end of the body.

Insert the right end of the foot joint into the other end of the body.

Twist the Head Joint (holding the Body by the barrel) to align the center of the hole in the Head Joint with the center of the key work on the Body.

Align the Foot Joint with the key work of Body.

The rod on the Foot Joint should be rotated slightly in from the edge of the keys on the Body.

It is suggested that you do not make an nstrument if you intend to play it in a band as the tuning may be off. Flutes requrire a lot of material. It would be very expensive and frustrating as well as time-consuming.
