you can make a little model of a city and make a little tsunami. and see how much damage it caused. then compare the damage that it did to a real tsunami.
Look at the type of tsunami your doing. Is it a certain tsunami? If it is research that particular tsunami first. Look up how big it was, what the town looked like, what color it was. Those types of questions. Once your happy with your research and you think you have enough information start building. If you were making a model of The Boxing Day Tsunami you would make the color of the water in your model the same as what color that tsunami was. I hope this info has helped. If not, keep trying!! Here's a way to make a tsunami model. First you need at least a Ziploc bag of sand, a "showoff" tub or aluminum rectangle shaped pan, a lid to a big Tupperware, and various amount of water. Now here's some choices for a science project or just for now here they are .enjoy them and learn. The way for a science project is to get 3 "showoff" or rectangle pan. Then if you hadn't heard of variable, it makes a great science project. But for this your going to need 3 bags of sand. OK, your variable is the amount of water that will flood the land. Use some 3 big Tupperware lids and place them in the pan or tub. After that, pour the sand onto one side of the tub or pan, then pour the water. Tip, make sure no water gets under the lid. You will then see how much the water had flooded. Hope you enjoyed! Now just repeat the steps except, take away 2 tubs, 2 bags of sand and some amount of water. well you can get a ballon and put it under like a bath tub to start then prick it and hopfully it will make a mini tsunami
I think that you get a tub/bucket and put water in. NOT all the way... Then take a piece of plastic board and put in water. Then you pull the plastic board towards you and you can cause a small tsunami...... THANK YOU FOR LISTENING
