How do you make a rubberband gun?

There are so many ways to build one. Designs vary based on the restrictions or if it has to carry a load of some sort.
Some easy ones involve 2-liter bottles with CD wheels and metal axles.
I saw one online that started a fan that propelled the car, and another that set off a mousetrap that sent the axle spinning.

You will need

A body (cardboard, egg carton, wood frame, ect.)

4 wheels (bottle caps, LEGO wheels, CDs, ect.)

2 Pencils

A rubber band

Strong glue (super glue, hot glue, ect.)

2 Metal Washers (something similar to a washer will do)

1. Take something light, like a box, cardboard, or something along those lines.

2. Find 4 wheels, they can be store bought, bottle caps, Lego wheels, basically anything that could work. CDs work for tall cars.

3. Take 2 of the wheels, glue them onto a pencil

4 .Take the other 2 wheels and glue them to another pencil.

5. Put each of the pencils through something like a metal washer. You can use the washer also.

6. Glue a rubber band around one of the pencils.

7Glue the washers to the front and back of the car. MAKE SURE THE PENCILS ARE NOT GLUED TO THE CAR. Make sure the pencil with the rubber band is in the back.

8. Put the other side of the rubber band glued towards the front of the car.

9. To make the car go, rotate the wheels in the reverse direction you want the car to move.10. Have fun with your car!!! Painting it makes it pretty. :P

Follow the steps to make a rubber band gun. Take a piece of a wood around 50 cm long. Attach a clothes pin two third down to it. Make a notch at the front. Place a rubber band on the notch and stretch it down to the clothes pin.
