Fool around with variations of Bt. Sienna, Cerulean Blue and White.
After the rust tone you desire is dry you can warm or cool with red or brown glazes to achieve different final effects.
That depends on what type of colors you are talking about. There is a very big difference between reflected (paint) & projected (monitors) colors.
Though I have found the projected colors (RGB) usually translate pretty well to paint colors. Not perfect, but usually usable.
So here is a descent rust color (red, green, blue values) for monitor viewing.
R: 172

B: 77
