How do you make chocolate cake from scratch?

Answer:

First you need:

1 cup of softend butter
1-and-1/2 cup of sugar
1 cup of hot chocolate mix
3 large eggs
3 large egg yolks
1 tbsp of vanilla
3 and 1/4 cups all purpose flour
2 and 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp of salt

First pre-heat oven to 375 degrees
mix all the ingredients in large bowl
blend at a medium speed for 2 mins
pour into a pan and bake it in the oven for 20-30 mins
