As of today 4/2/2013 cycles doesn't support smoke sim and the particle system only works with objects or groups. I just made a stove flame today using shape keys and motion blur. I used a cylinder and edge loop/slide withe shape keys to mimic fire motion and played it in loop. Also I added my own texture using gimp with the bottoms of the image light blue and dark blue at the top. With the shape keys moving the texture slides up and Down the flame like in reality.
I'm sure this isn't what you were looking for but it's something that worked for me...
Ps if your not using gimp alongside blender yet you need to!
Cheers

When no longer under hostile fire
Yes you can, but A blender isn't built for that, that is what a shredder is for but if you put a paper in there is a possibility that your blender would get stuck and break, or worse case scenario your blender would jam make a spark, and set the paper on fire and then the rest of your house is doomed, So its not a very good idea:)
The fire engine was created or discovered the fire engine by John Erickson.
No, fire engine is not a compound word. fire and engine are to words not together. : ) :P : ) :P Simples : )
A squad is a combination of a fire engine and heavy rescue
when there is a fire the fire engine pulls up and hopefully connects a hose to a fire hydrant and that brings water into the engine. The fire engine then pumps the water from the hydrant to the engine and finally to the hoses and they help pump water up to the hose to stop a fire.
The Fire Engine That Disappeared was created in 1969.
