Well on the television you might have seen Debbie Meyer green bags. If you put the Fruit salad in those bags, it will stay fresh for up to 30 days! These bags are relatively inexpensive!

always keep berries refridgerated. you should never leave them in the pantry or counter, or other places including the freezer. they will rot verry fast if you dont.
