Answer:
Unfortunately, as the saying goes, there's no such thing as a free lunch. In fact, it is a verifiable chemical law of the universe that nothing can be created from nothing.
All success comes from persistent work toward quantifiable goals, as well as careful planning and responsibility. Absent that, the only options left are obtaining self-support from charity or government assistance, or pure chance.
Lotteries and games of chance have the potential to garner huge gains without stealing or working, but cannot be predicted or relied upon for producing reliable returns.
Unfortunately, there really are very few legitimate means for obtaining income without effort or theft in essence, theft is work. Drug dealing is work. The organizational skills and activities required to apply for, obtain, and retain public assistance are work. Fraud and deception may be dubiously classified as stealing. Really, anything might be classified as one or the other, but with that aside, here are some suggestions.
Live at home with mom and dad. If they are sufficiently co-dependent, you may eke out quite a living this way. If you're really asking this question, you're probably already there, so this is quite convenient, and can be undertaken without any work.
Go to college. The government is more than willing to pay thousands per year to students enrolled in college, through Pell grants and Stafford loans. If you pay back the loans, it won't be stealing. Though this smacks of work, it is far easier than true, gainful employment, and will be able to sustain a very modest lifestyle while in school. However, there are limits on the number of semesters you may receive this assistance, so after a decade or so, this will end.
Claim a disability. You may be able to receive social security benefits on an ongoing basis for a demonstrated disability, which may be as simple as being ADHD, an alcoholic or drug addict with a clinical diagnosis, or self-amputating a foot or a few fingers. It's just a question of motivation.
Apply for food stamps, WIC, or another program. The social safety net in the United States is broad and comfy. To refuse to avail oneself of it because of pride is just silly.
Have more children. Federal food programs pay more for larger families, tax credits are better, and they will likely share your sloth and can become cash cows when your neglect makes them emotionally disabled -- cha-ching!
If you need specific guidance or lack the wherewithal to ask for a handout, ACORN, the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, would be more than happy to do all the work of applying for you, and even coach you in fudging the requirements so that you may suckle at the government teat without any effort whatever.
