This depents on the font set you are using. If you are using "Wingdings" you can hold the alt key, type "34", then release alt. I also recommend the Character Map program in Windows, Start-> Run...
Instead of tearing a paper, you can use scissors in order for you to cut the paper the style you want but more orderly.:) If you are in a hurry, you can use scissors to cut things.:)
