you can not change the background
You can set a lock-screen or home-screen background by going to "Settings" then "Wallpaper" you can select an image from Apple's default selection or a picture you have put onto your device. After selection the image you want to use, tap the image. This will bring up a preview screen. Once you are happy with the background tap "Set" and you will be asked if you want to set the image as the lock screen background, home screen background or both.
Assuming you have at least a 2nd generation iPod Touch (1st generation iPod Touches do not support iOS 4.) simply plug your iPod Touch into your computer and open iTunes. You will be automatically prompted to update your iPod Touch. If not, find your iPod on the left hand side. Click your iPod and your iPod's information will open. Click the button labelled "Check for updates" and your iPod Touch will be automatically updated to the latest iOS version.
To change the background on an iPod touch, navigate to pictures and click on the picture you would like as your background. There will be an arrow coming from the box, click on that and select make background. You can also download various themes which include backgrounds as well.
Nope. Only 3GS and iPod Touch 3rd gen. get all the features. iPhone 3G and iPod touch 2nd gen. get a lot, but not some, such as multitasking, because the hardware is not suited for the "massive" RAM
u cant download the background music for the ipod because its only the background music no one would ever think to put it on the ipod and i do agree the background music is cool
There was an update for the ipod touch about 7 months ago and it allowed you to change the background on your ipod and you can also change the lock screen
Because the Ipod Touch doesn't have a camera, but you can upload photos from the computer on to your ipod =) And, if you get DoodleBuddy as an App, you can make the pictures you uploaded your background and draw on it.
