To make Indigo you need 2 & a half thirds of blue and half a third red.

Mix these 2 colours together until you get a darkish blue.

There you have it... Indigo.

To make Violet you need 2 thirds purple & 1 third white.

Mix these 2 colours together until you get a light purple.

There you have it... Violet.
