First, you have to put the reverser in the forward position(w). Then, release the brakes by holding down (;) until the meassge thing says 0 or released. From here, things can be different. If you're driving the KIHA 31, put the gears in position 1(E). Lastly, move the throttle up with (D). NOTE: This process is different with steam trains.
