Make sure to buy a 16 or more hour last foundation. True Color from Covergirl looks great. Then make sure to buy a very light and natural waterproof mascara. And the best eye shadow for something like this is pure mac pigment or i.d. bare mineral shadow as well as i.d. bare mineral blush these products don't take any work and look great!

Makeup should be as late in the day as possible, meaning you should not put it on first thing in the morning if you won't need to be out until noon. Great all day make up brands are Revlon Colorstay, Estee Lauder Double Wear and also Merle Norman has a great brand (forgot name) But it all starts with a great primer. Think of it as a smoothing agent on which you makeup will "sit on top of" It will prevent "slippage" from heat,sweat and just general wear. Smashbox Photofinish and Tarte Clean Slate are popular. Although my favorite primer is much less expensive ($10) and a small amount goes a long way.... Monistat's Chafing Relief Powder Gel. Best new product in my bag of tricks lately. It has a cult following.

∙ 14y agoPut on a coat of lipstick. Then put a tissue between your lips and clamp down on it, really hard. This kinda embeds the lipstick into your lips. Finally, apply another coat of lipstick. And when you apply a coat of lipstick, don't just go over your lips once--or worse, go over just your bottom lip then rub your lips together. Go over them six or seven times, and put product on both your upper and lower lips. Finally, consign yourself to the fact that lipstick really doesn't last that long--if you want your lipstick to look fresh all day, you need to put on another coat every couple of hours. If you go to work at 8am, have lunch at noon and go home at 5pm, visit the restroom at 10am, right after you eat and at 3pm.
