How do you make your sister be quiet?

Is the problem that your sister is embarrassing you, either in front of your date or in front of family or your, or her, friends by talking about your date, or about you and your date?

You don't say whether your sister is older or younger than you; if she's older you could point out that she is also vulnerable to this kind of embarrassment and she surely wouldn't want you learning, by her example, to do the same to her.

If she's your younger sister you could explain to her that the time will come when she'll be dating: are you supposed to think she believes it'll be okay for you to embarrass her the way she's doing to you?

In either case you don't need to appear to be threatening to pay her back for her behaviour; this will get you nowhere and probably make things worse simply because any kind of ill-feeling you cause between the two of you will come back to bite you.

Just, perhaps, tell her you're asking her to imagine what she'd feel like in your situation, and suggest good family relationships depend upon mutual respect and, where necessary, helping one another.
