The Absorbance of Water is no intrinsic property of water itself, but it has to do with how water is transported from one area to another (Such as from on top of a surface to a paper towel)...I am assuming that you either want to measure 1) How much is being absorbed or 2) At what rate it is being absorbed You just need standard units of volume for water because that is what is being absorbed. Centimeters Cubed? It might have been possible to answer the question if you had specified what characteristic of water you want to measure: temperature, mass, volume, density, electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, specific heat, refractive index, etc, etc.

Where do plants get h2o and co2 materials?

plants absorb water (h20) thorough their root hair cells which are found on the roots, and they obtain carbon dixide (C02) though the stomata which are little holes on the underside of the leaf.
