Flush with an acidic material, boric acid or a weak solution of vinegar and water. If it is on the skin, flush with cold water then see your doctor immediately
A good what to neutralize bleach depending on what you are doing is applying Hydrogen Peroxide to where you need the bleach neutralized. An added plus is no toxic substances result from this mixture.
I've used this with great success in getting the bleach flavor out of water coolers.
NaOCl + H2O2 --> H2O + NaCl + O
For chlorine bleach, a product like Anti-Chlor is designed specifically for neutralizing the effects of the bleach. You can also use a hydrogen peroxide 3% bath to stop the bleach as well.
An alternative, if you are using the bleach to remove the color in a dark fabric specifically, is to use a product like Rit Dye Powder Color Remover. This is less aggressive and shouldn't harm the fabric like bleach does.
u can treat them by putting a cold cream or something...
Any base, such as soap, baking soda, washing soda, quick lime or caustic soda.
Yes. caustic soda, scientifically known as sodium hydroxide, is often called lye. However, lye ma also refer to potassium hydroxide (caustic potash).
There is no such thing as caustic acid - caustic soda - YES. Caustic potash - YES - but not caustic acid
Kerosene is not caustic; but a prolonged contact with the skin is dangerous. Ingestion or inhalation are also dangerous.
Caustic soda is NaOH and it's chemical name is Sodium hydroxide.
yes vinegar can be used to neutralize caustic soda skin exposure since it is a mild acid
1 mole to 1 mole NaOH

the same amount.i.e.,hydrochloric acid reacts with caustic soda in the ratio 1/1.so if their concentrations are the same the amount of caustic soda required to neutralize hydrochloric acid will be same as that of amount of hydrochloric acid.
To neutralize a strong acid you need a weak alkali. You've done enough damage, so I would stay away from anything that says caustic on it or you're going to end up blind or gassed. Try a box of Bicarbonate of Soda first. Or just slam it with buckets of water and dilute it.

2NaOH + H2SO4 --> Na2SO4 + 2H2O You could use caustic soda, sodium hydroxide, and this would be the standard neutralization reaction producing a salt, sodium sulfate, and water.
non caustic
He is hurt when he heard her caustic remarks of his shoes
Caustic potash is potassium hydroxide (KOH) Caustic soda is sodium hydroxide (NaOH)
