I have heard that baking soda neutralizes alkaline battery acid.
Rinse the affected area well, at least 3-5 mins then apply about 2oz of baking soda liberally while skin is still wet. Leave on for a few mins or at least 30 seconds.
In severe cases it is recommended to ask the advice of a health care professional or call 911.
* Chemical burns can be serious take action immediately.
Car or automotive battery acid is 30-50% sulfuric acid

Battery acid. No battery acid just removes the skin
The acid in a standard AA battery is not overly harmful. It is not as strong as the acid from a car battery. The main concern would be eating the battery acid. However, if it touches your skin just wash it off. Honestly over-exposure to sunlight hurts the skin more.
Battery acid is sulfuric acid. Sulfuric acid is very corrosive and will burn your skin if not washed off very quickly.
Battery acid is a highly corrosive acid made from sulfur dioxide. It will poison you if its digested. It can burn your skin to. Becareful. Hope this helps :)
YES, battery acid isn't something that should touch your skin, ever.
It will ruin your clothes, burn your skin and don't get it in your eyes.
Im not sure but if you get it on your skin you have to put plenty of water on it
Alkalinity is a measure of how well a solution neutralizes an acid compared to a carbonate or bicarbonate. A used alkaline battery is most likely very weak, so it wont burn your skin, just wash it off. If a new alkaline battery explodes or leaks onto your skin and it burns you, you should neutralize it with a acid such as vinegar. Then rinse the affected area and cover it.

Battery acid is Sulfuric acid and Drano is 54.2 %Sodium hydroxide Sulfuric acid is a strong acid which can damage skin and your eyes. Drano is 54.2 % Sodium hydroxide which is lye. Lye is used to make lye soap. Lye reacts with oils and fats to make soap. You have oils on your skin.
No, battery acid (sulfuric acid) is not the strongest acid. The Strongest acid is fluoroantimonic acid. Bear in mind the acid in a battery is in a diluted state-not concentrated. Although it could blind you, if it gets on the skin it will create a burning sensation before it does any permanent damage and you can wash it off or neutralize.
