In the passenger footwell on the left hand side, pull the lever towards you. This pops the catch on the bonnet.
Then stand in front of the bonnet and pull it upwards slightly with one hand. Near the Lion badge feel underneath for the catch and when you find it pull it upwards. This should free the bonnet to open fully. Its a bit fiddly and I still forget sometimes but its easy enough once you've done it a few times.
