you take the magazine (clip) you push it into the gun (located at the bottem) then make sure the clip is in by taping it firmly on the bottem to make sure it is all the way in the gun, you the take hold of the cocking mechanism (located at the back of the carrying handle), you then pull the cocking mechanism back all the way out and let it go, finally take the safety off, (left side of the gun just above the trigger) then you point the gun and squezze the trigger
