Unfortunately, simply not drinking alcohol will not ensure that you will pass an EtG urine test. That's because it is so sensitive that it can detect alcohol used in mouthwash, hand sanitizers, etc. The company that produces the test has been sued because of its many false-positives.

Actually, alcohol, when metabolized by the liver, forms ethyl glucuronic acid i.e. when someone consumes alcohol, in the liver, a compound called glucuronic acid reacts with it and forms Ethyl glucuronide as a metabolite. But if it is meth or extacy wait 5 to 6 days before drug testing.

if its pot then you better start drinking alot of cranberry juice & taking pills to clean out your system.

I know this from expirience,

you will most likely come out dirtyy if its for pot.

It detects mouthwash alcohol, hand sanitizer alcohol, etc. The federal government has warned that because of its frequent false-positives, the test cannot be used as an indicator that a person was consuming an alcoholic beverage.

Be Smart and don't drink. the margin of error on this test is next to nil and falsifying a urine test is a FELONY! if you aren't an alcoholic then not drinking shouldn't be a problem for you. in most states if you fail you will go to jail for your entire sentence, if you are on parole you will go back to jail. so bottom line, don't be an idiot. most likely you have been asked to test for a much shorter period of time than you may be looking at going to jail for so just suck it up, no matter how unfair you think it is that you don't get to drink and just don't do it. the more clean tests you have the sooner you won't have to pee anymore. speaking from experience and knowing how much these tests SUCK, especially when you have to drive almost an hour in pain that your bladder will explode to do it, that is better than being in jail.

Yes, you can beat a etg/ets tests. Simply drink a halve gallon of water or a sports drink before the test. then urinate atleast three times rigth before the test. It doesn't really matter how clear the sample is. If they test you latter, simple abstain atleast 48 hours before each test. I have done this and yes it does work!
