Sorry, you cant. An earring is alot different then if you were using a needle which is sharper compared to an earring which is very dull. Using a needle, you would have to re-pierce the hole over the years or so. And earring have a chemical that could possibly get into the blood from your ear. Using a needle, all you would need to do is burn the tip with a lighter, have alchol near by to soak needle and cotton balls. This is an effective way, however I would not recommend it for arious reasons. Thoes of which being..Infection, Not safe, Infection, and Not safe. :)

Earrings are blunt and short and it is impossible to easily break the skin because they lack the sharpness and length needed for thrust.
You will only end up with a load of blood and a f*cked up lip.
Go to a professional if you want the piercing that badly.

Since you wouldn't be using a sterile, brand new needle, you need to make sure that you clean the earring as best as you can. Rubbing alcohol, a lighter, and boiling water will do the trick. Also make sure you know that you won't have an allergic reaction to the earring. A piercing earring would be the best choice.
