I have to say, after planning multiple reunions, there was one thing that saved me hours of planning: ReunionPlanner's book and software. The book has helpful tips on how to plan, and the software manages everything for you:
-Guest list (added through an excel document).
-finances
-budget worksheet
-checklist of things to do.
-phone lists
-table assignments, seat numbers, and meal choices.

This software even printed out mailing labels for me, which saved me so much time, not to mention extra money on a mailing label software. No, it's not free. But it will save so much time and effort. I highly recommend this product.
