As for DVD ISO movies, you can use the Apple DVD player to playback. But Apple inc still make their computer not support the Blu-rays. So you need other tools to help you play Blu-ray ISO on Mac.
As far as i know, the Macgo Blu-ray player allows the Mac player to play Blu-ray ISO on Mac direclty.
What's more, the latest VLC can also support the Blu-ray ISO playback, but only the non-commercial ones.

There are severnal ways that you can play DVD movies saved as .ISO files on Mac, especially on the on the newest Mac OS Snow Leopard. All windows files can play on a Mac if you run boot camp (which is bascially installing windows on your mac) if you want to run windows files on a native AMc operating system you must have the program installed for the mac version. Download an ISO of the Mac OS CD, and then burn that ISO with Nero to the CD. It will be an exact copy of that disc. If the ISO was copied from a bootable CD then the copy you burn will be bootable.
