What does it mean if you worship the devil?

It is not clear how exactly you would worship the Devil; there are many legends, spread through Horror movies and folk tales, involving scary rituals that take place in the dark or in graveyards. But there is no evidence such stories are true. Some of the things you would probably do include praying to him and making some sort of sacrifice, probably involving blood (some stories involve getting tattoos that show devotion to the prince of darkness). There would also be rituals in which you call upon the Devil to protect you, and you might cast spells upon your enemies. You would also pledge to serve only Satan and not serve God. It should also be noted that wicca (witchcraft) has nothing to do with Satanism; wiccans (called witches by some) celebrate nature and the goddess, and they do not worship the devil.

You would loose your relationship with Jehovah God, the Creator of the Universe and everything in it. Once you loose your connection with Jehovah - - your life will spiral downhill (maybe not instantly; but eventually.)

Then when Jehovah has his Judgment Day - - your fate will not be too good. Satan cannot save you. He is not stronger than Jehovah. You'll be on your own, up against Jehovah.

But don't worry, you won't be tormented eternally in a fiery hell. That's just 'mainstream' religion that teaches such; not the Bible. Jehovah is a God of LOVE and COMPASSION; and he would NEVER torment anyone. The worst that will happen is that you will return to the non-existence you had before you became alive. But just think what your life could be for not worshiping the Devil. The Bible says that 'the meek', they shall 'inherit the earth', in an 'abundance of peace'; and you can regain 'everlasting life' right here on earth. (Psalm 37:11)

Technically, it only means you're a devil worshipper. Ie that you believe in "Satan" as described and portrayed in the Christian bible. While there have been many "satanic" or diabolically oriented groups in the past, Satanism is a modern invention by Anton LaVey and they categorically do NOT believe in Satan, but rather use a poetic/idealized version of the devil (like the one portrayed in John Milton's Paradise Lost) as a sort of role model.
