How do you prepare beets for storage?

First of all you need to chop of the roots,

Cut the beets in half or in fours,

After those steps put all of the beets into jars, is dose not matter how many jars they all fit into,

Then place the jar/jars into the fridge NOT the freezer,

So now there in storage.
