Check to see what it wants. If the cat has food, clean water, a clean litterbox, and you've paid attention to it in a reasonable amount of time today, then maybe you should take it to the doctor.
However, I can't shut my cat up when it wants to go outside unless I don't care how much he begs until he gets tired an let it go.

∙ 11y agoit's out of food ,water ,it's litter box is dirty or it's bored is probably why it's meowing in the first place if so then ten to these needs and he will be happy.
still meowing? then pet him and he will probably stop hope this helps

∙ 8y agoGet down on its level. Give it time to move before you walk by. Offer your fingers, palm up, for it to smell, rather than just reaching your hand toward the cat. Just think about how HUGE a person looks to a cat. it's scary to some cats.
