Have a "free" box for all those plastic cups/containers, odds & ends you want gone.
Books don't bring much money - have a box Labelled $ .25 and fill it with books.
Clothes - unless it's an expensive suit or gown, clothes don't bring much money. Charge anywhere from $ .25 for socks to $3.00 for a dress. Nice coats perhaps $5.00. Nothing higher.
Electronic equipment is in demand. If selling anything electronic (toaster, lamp, etc) have an extension cord available for people see if it works. $5.00 up to ??? depending on the original price and what it is.
Group items rather than pricing individually, except for the big items (dining set, sofa, etc).
Again, if you want it gone, price to sell and be quick to negotiate. If there's a particular price you want, price it higher to give room for "haggling". People like to think they got a good deal just by asking.
The two main reasons for yard sales are for:
1. The seller to get rid of unwanted, unneeded items;
2. The buyer to find very good deals on new, almost-new, or used items.
If something is brand new, sealed in the original package, you should take 20-30% off. But this depends on the original price-- on a high ticket item, 20-30% isn't much of a bargain. Bargain hunters often search for deep discounts, 50% or so.
Otherwise, on used items, consider what the same item might sell for in a used 'thrift' or appliance store.
Many people consider using a "what I want to get for this" pricing. Remember to be realistic. If you need to part with items, price low.
Consider having a bag sale on small items or on clothing and charge one small price per bag. Bag sales work wonders on moving out what you don't need.
The first obvious place would probably be ebay. But other places are... -garage sales (you never know what you'll find! -Model shops (they have sales on them) -Online (Eg: MH$P) It really depends where you live and what's available. !
The internet is abundant with reselling websites. Ebay always comes to mind. Why limit yourself to the internet? Try to look for garage sales too, you'll never know.
---- it means somthing that i do not know ---- it means somthing that i do not know
If only the total price was recoded and you do not know the tax rate, you cannot.
i don't know they are so hard to get but try getting them in here: book orders, garage sales and eBay
I know I live in Texas where it is hot. Too hot. Plus, there's Ebay.
If you have an amp in the back of your car you can go to a best buy garage or any garage that you know of and ask them to instal it for you for an additional price I did it and only paid like 10 dollars.
Selling price = Cost of goods sold + Gross profit percentage on sales
They don't sell sell that movie anymore as long as I know of so to get it, you should try on line or at garage sales
somthing somthing somthing I know its somthing BIG
Assuming the $259 price tag is with sales tax, we still couldn't answer the question - we'd need to know what the sales tax rate is where you're buying it/looking at it is. If it was, say, a 7% sales tax rate, then that would come out to $18.13 in sales tax, so the price without it would be $240.87.
The percent of sales can be used to forecast the price of different types of goods. This can help the marketers know which goods are the most marketable.
