How do you program the remote key fob on a 2005 Chevy Malibu maxx
how do i program keyless remote for 2000 Buick LeSabre
It is possible to program one key fob to use on two different cars. If the key fob uses a primitive fixed code system, programming two cars will not work.
You will need to contact a dealership to program the remote key FOB on a 2001 Chevy Malibu. Stock remotes can only be programmed at Chevy dealerships.
You will need a scan tool to program this Keyless Fob.
That's your remote control for unlocking / locking the doors etc ( key FOB )
Take it to your Buick dealer is how.
ebay of course. i got a set there. you can program them yourself w/instructions from the internet.
This is not a new remote it was once programmed for the car but it sat without battery in it for a long time before I bought it. I know the FOB works per the testing machine they have at Autozone but how to program it to work again is beyond me. ANY help would be greatly appreciated.
code for maverick 1996 fob
Most modern cars require you to have the "Special" key with the remots functions on it to run the car. If it a seperate key fob remote you should not need it.
You need a scan tool to program that remote. You will probably have to go the dealer.
