It is very difficult to peel an unripe banana, and those that are too green can cause upset stomach. Thus simians tend to pick ripe bananas to eat, which are easily peeled by bending the stem up and backwards from the fruit and removing the entire strip. It is then easy to flip the entire fruit out of the remaining skin, like you've seen in the movies.
They do not peel them like we humans do because they don't care about getting a bit of sticky mess on their hands. Further, they cannot turn their hands very much from a palms-down facing position. The bone structure of their foreamrs is different than humans, and is occasionally cited as the reason we developed higher intelligence than our early ancestors because we could turn objects over to inspect them.
The chimpanzee character Cheeta (sometimes billed as Cheetah, Cheta, or Chita) was never in any of Edgar Rice Burroughs' original Tarzan novels. The character is a product of the movies, and does have a star on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars at 110 South Palm Canyon Drive in Palm Springs, California, USA.It IS known that Cheeta (played by Jiggs, the chimpanzee) was first introduced in 1932's Tarzan the Ape Man.
The cast of I Speak French Like Tarzan - 1986 includes: Ahmet Kufacioglu as Ahmet
Old.
Phil Collins did NOT make Tarzan, only wrote songs for the Disney movie. Edgar Rice Burroughs made Tarzan, and like many authors, he probably liked his idea and decided to make it into a novel.
It was not a Tarzan film. It was Beyond the Blue Horizon(1942) with a Tarzan-like Richard Denning, who along with Dorothy Lamour tricked Mabok, a rogue elephant into making the fateful plunge.
they like it.........
Actually, banana are not the main food for monkeys or apes. Banana is very rich that a great ape like a gorilla will eat only one banana per week. Most of the monkeys are herbivores.
because, monkeys are just like us. helps period pain. :) Im guessing your a girl and y put an answer like that??
Monkeys like to eat all kinds of fruits, they eat both banana's and nuts they also eat flowers and insects.I hope that was helpful
Not in the wild. But in a tank, they can eat BANANA TREATS™, which the brine shrimp love.
Monkeys do eat bananas, however, the monkeys that are in zoos should not eat the cultivated bananas that humans eat. These bananas have lots more sugar than bananas found in the wild and can lead to diabetes.

They tend to throw feces, and they take dumps often. It's a combination for disaster.
An Ecosystem is maintained by the balance if nature such as the balances between hawks and mice. If one if larger or smaller than the other one, then its not balanced. Like if there are too much hawks and they eat all the mice out, the hawks have nothing to eat and die out. Or they are balanced between resources, like a banana tree and monkeys. If the banana trees stop growing the monkeys have nothing to eat.
Gorillas, monkeys, lemurs, chimpanzees, and humans are all primates.
"Hate" is an awfully strong word. And there are many types of monkeys in the world. Some have few natural enemies, some have many. For example, in the New World, monkeys are the natural prey of some large cats like panthers, jaguars and such. So you could say that monkeys hate animals that are stalking them for dinner.
They will eat bananas, and most any kind of fruit, leaves, and other vegetation. Like most primates, they find the taste of bananas appealing.
