First go to the Page Layout tab in your ribbon.
Next, in the Page Background box, should be a button that says Page Color.
Click it.
A pop up box should appear. Click the Picture Tab.
It should be simple from there.

Click Format, then Page. Click the Background tab in the new dialogue box, and select 'no fill'. Click OK - and you're done.
