well it depends on what type of bike you have ,but i have a 49cc x7 super pocket bike, and i had to remove the fuel tank,which the battery is located under there should be three screws which require an alan wrench to remove one should be located just in front of your tank it screws into the frame and the others are located just under the front of your seat removal of seat may be required to reach them, after that everything should be pretty easy.
