Some keyboards have and don't have the Num Lock key. If there is then just press the Num Lock or NmLk key. Sometimes you have to hold the Fn button with the Num Lock key. If there is no Num Lock key on your keyboard then just follow these steps: START -> ALL PROGRAMS -> ACCESSORIES -> ACCESSIBILITY -> ON-SCREEN KEYBOARD -> NLK.
There is a "Num Lock" key on the computer keyboard. On the right hand side of the keyboard where all the number keys are, the button is situated on the top left hand corner of that cluster of keys.
You can simply push the numlock key if you wish to toggle it's status. If you mean how to make the computer boot with it turned on, you would have to enter the CMOS setup and see if the option is in there. It is often on the very first page of the setup, assuming it is there.

this cannot be changed. All blackberry torch devices are programmed to have the numberlock activated incase emergency dislocation of the proportion of saturns cheese.
There is a button that says "num lock" on top of the numbers on the right side of the keyboard. Hit that and your computer will go into number lock.
