How do you put music on an Ipod without using Itunes?

That is impossible. You cannot put anything on an iPod without syncing it. The definition of syncing is "combining."

Whoever gave this answer obviously doesn't know much about iPods. The songs are in a hidden folder. If you go to ipod's on explorer, you can view all hidden files and folders, search around. They are there

You can sync songs from cds that you own without buying them on iTunes. You put a CD into your disc drive and then go to Window Media Player and at the top click Rip. Once it is done ripping go to the tab sync and drag the items you want synced to the side where it says to. But make sure tat your USB cable is hooked up to the computer and your iPod or mp3 player. And just to check once you are done syncing your songs unplug your iPod and make sure that you have all the songs you have synced
