This question bothers me, the spark plug will come equipped with a washer if it is needed. If it is the type that can come off it will slip on quite easily.
Most spark plugs do not use washers! But some do and need them! That is the gasket. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX A gasket or washer is NOT required on a tapered seat spark plug.
You take off the cap. Then pull out the spark plug. Put a new spark plug in. Then put the cap back on. Voila your done. Easy as pie!
Could be a few reasons, and can't be pinpointed without me actually seeing it "in action". But here are the most likely reasons, in order of likleyhood: 1) Spark plug not tightened to proper specs. Fix: tighen plug to proper specs with torque wrench. 2) Spark plug "washer" bad or gone. Fix: Replace washer. 3) Spark plug seals bad. Fix: Replace spark plug. 4) Bad threads in spark plug hole. Fix: Retap, or "Helicoil" it. 5) Crack in head near spark plug hole. Fix: Replace head.
hoe do you put then spark plug cable in the right order on a impala
Is the old washer still stuck on the block?
Most snow blowers have the spark plug on top of the motor :to change a spark plug you get a spark plug wrench (take wire cap off the plug) put wrench on spark plug then turn counter clock wise to take it out. To put a new one back in reverse the proses
The silicon stuff is to help keep the spark plug boots from sticking to the spark plug, so put it in the spark plug boot.
you get a spark plug socket or one of similar size to fit the spark plugs, then you just put it in the correct location and screw it in snuggly(not too tight cause you will break the ceramic casing), then connect all the spark plug wires
take the spark wire off, remove spark plug, put wire back on plug, put steel part of plug against the medal part of engine (with a insulated pare of pliers) then crank the motor over watch the electrode on end of plug if you see spark you have it if you don't ....
the plug that was put in it from the factory.
Sparks plugs are replaced by disconnecting the battery, removing the spark plug cable and boot, and by removing the old spark plug. Next put in the new spark plug, attach the boot and cable and reconnect the battery.
Very simple to do. Purchase 4 new platinum spark plugs for the vehicle. You will need a spark plug socket (it has rubber on it to grip the spark plug you are taking out) and an extension of at least 8 inches. When you open the hood you will see the 4 spark plug leads on top of the engine. Unplug the leads ....put the spark plug socket down each hole and unscrew the spark plugs. The new spark plugs will likely be already gapped to the .043 inches needed. Screw the sparks plug in (I made sure I did not put the spark plug socket on the spark plug too tightly or you could leave the spark plug in the socket hole. A 15 minute job at the most
