you should have a brass buckle, one hook, two smaller brass "keepers" and one 2" white belt.

For starters the buckle goes on your right side. This will be obvious when You pick up Corporal, but its good to get in the habit now.

1:With the buckle face down, and slide the white belt into the bent-over tab with the hole.

2:slide one of the "keepers" down the end of the belt that just went through the hole.

3:fold the belt back over and run it back out the hole it came in.

4: repeat for the the hook side.

Its pretty easy once you get the hang of it. If this doesnt help keep asking and Ill give you more detailed instructions later.

What are marine corps dress blue bravos?

Dress blue bravos is a Marine dress uniform. It is equivalent in use to a civilian's black suit and tie. For enlisted personnel, it consists of a white barracks cover; long sleeve, midnight blue coat with red trimming, a standing collar, and a white web belt on the outside of the coat with a gold buckle; ribbons on the left side of the chest (rifle and pistol badges optional unless where directed) ; white shirt; sky blue trousers with a tan web belt; black dress socks; and black shoes (women wear pumps in place of shoes, and may wear a skirt in place of slacks). Officers are the same except the coat does not have red trim, the white belt is replaced with one that is midnight blue, and general grade officers have midnight blue trousers. Officers, SNCOs and NCOs wear a blood stripe down the outer seam of the trousers.

What is the belt regulation for the marine corps MCMAP belt?

If you are referring to the Marine Corps Service Alpha uniform then there are two different belts with different requirements. The 1-1/4 inch wide cotton khaki web belt with buckle will be worn by all Marines with the utility uniform. Male Marines will wear the khaki web belt with service and blue dress trousers and it may be worn with the white dress trousers. The tip end of the web belt will pass through the buckle to the wearer's left and will extend from two to four inches beyond the buckle. The metal belt tip and the buckle will be kept highly polished. The buckle will be worn with the buckle tongue depressed into the buckle. Belts for all men's service coats and male officers' blue coats must match the color and material of the uniform with which they are worn. The buckle will cover the bottom button of the coat. The belt's tapered end will pass through the buckle to the wearer's left and will extend from 2-3/4 inches to 3-3/4 inches beyond the buckle. The free end of the belt will be held in place by a cloth keeper 1/2 inch wide and may be fitted with a snap fastener to secure the belt point. Buckles will be kept highly polished. this info is from: http://www.tecom.usmc.mil

What length is white belt on Marine dress blues cut beyond buckle?

The cut should make the tip of the belt extend no more than 1/2 inch beyond the buckle. Ideally the tip should touch the buckle. Leave about two inches behind the buckle for expansion, after all stuff happens.
