If you have direct tv, you can just go to the menu and look for the code for the specific TV. And if you find the code, you have to know how to program that certain remote control. And if not just go to a Electronics store and buy a ten dollar remote and get the codes off of the instructions. They should definitely have the codes.
How do I program a new TV code into the Comcast remote controller
You can program your DVR with a remote control.
You just might have a selector switch which determines which output the DVR/DVD player has. It could be on the remote control or possibly, a button on the unit.
i have a isymphony tv & need a code 2 programe my bigmatters jumbo remote can you help me with codes.
I need the device code number to enter into my Dish DVR remote so the Harmon dvd will operate from that remote.
11144, 11240, 11331, 11610 for directv, the last one works perfectly for my 537H tv
No, you will need the remote that goes with the tivo dvr.
I purchased a Philips model# SRU5107WM17 remote and had same problem with my Mediacom cable/dvr. Could not find the codes in the in package nor on the Philips website. I had to do some research. Not sure what brand of cable box you have but I have PACE and the Motorola codes worked for my Pace cable/dvr box. The code I used was 1077. If Motorola codes don't work, the Scientific Atlanta codes work for some Pace cable/dvr boxes. It is a shame that between Mediacom and Philips don't help customers out better.
This also does include its own univeral remote controller which allows you to control all the critical functions on the DVR.
Yes it can be done manually from the tivo home base unit functions located on the dvr,but you will be limited to common "vcr" type functions unlike advanced controls available with utilizing the remote control features.
You cannot program a Direct TV receiver with this remote. The Toshiba TV this was designed for was introduced before the Direct TV HD systems came out. This remote does not control any model of DVR. If you want to control both of these with one remote, get a Logitech Harmony remote.
This may sound crazy, but change the batteries in your remote control for the DVR. When the batteries get weak, they tend to throw off random signals which can cause this to happen.
yes...it has software to connect u to everything...super ez
