step 1 : Find a place were it gets full sun, and it doesn't get chilly winds specially during spring and fall

step 2 : Dig a hole in the ground. It has to be about the same size as the watermelons that you normally buy at the store. The acid has to be maximum 5.5.

step 3: When is 65 degrees you can plant a watermelon plant or a seed.I recomend you to use compost.

step 4: Every watermelon seed you plant they have to be at least 2 feet away from each other.

step 5:Cover your plants with floating row covers to keep the warm air in.To your plants give them an inch of water per week.

step 6: Remove all the cover so that the bees can pollinate the flowers and use compost tea every 3 weeks.

step 7: Note when the plants are in full bloom. water melons have to be ready after 35 days.

you can start growing watermelons. first, you add peat moss,2 you put the seeds in a pot, then 3, put the pot with the seeds and the peat moss in a light area. watermelons need a lot of sun light. also make sure the pot is warm. watermelons love staying on warm place not on cold! if its too chilly outside, make sure they stay warm, the watermelons.and they will need a lot of space, but only wen their grown ups. wen their baby they can be put on pots.

Honey dew melons are planted and cared for in the same manner as ordinary water melons. They grow best in a rich sandy loam soil. However, the sweetest [true for all melons for that matter] are grown during summer by using a clayish- loam soil [mixing clay and loam soil]. Soils from valleys near rivers approximates the mixture needed for a clayish loam soil. Melons require moderate watering during simmer - twice a week siffices.

Just take good care of the plant but i wouldn't suggest using fertilizers or any sort of things like that, water it and when you think its ready just knock on the watermelon and if it sounds hard its perfect, if it sounds halo then it's not perfect. hoped i helped

A juicy watermelon would require ample water supply. Through its maturity in the soil, it will naturally absorb the water content that it sees available. The more water that it finds, the more juicy it will be inside.

First, you need some soft soil. Then you need to plant a watermelon seed in the soil. Water the seed for a few weeks until it starts to grow. Continue watering daily.
