How do you read fortunes yourself?

Scrying (reading the future) can be done in many ways.
Cards - regular playing cards, angel cards, medicine cards, tarot cards just to name a few. These however take specific knowledge of the various layouts and meanings of the individual cards and the interpretations of their interactions depending on their proximity to one another.
Casting of bones, runes, stones or symbol discs.
Crystal balls, dark mirrors, bowls of water, flames all show the future on their surfaces.
Pendulums can be asked yes or no questions.
Tea leaves (and coffee grounds) are read by interpreting the symbols found in the cup and their placement within it.
Palmistry is the study of the lines, mounts and symbols found in the palm of your hand.
Any and all of these can be used to scry your own future, you just need to know the basics, and then try to read the signs without letting your own hopes, fears and desires colour your reading. This is why most of us do not scry for ourselves. Few people are detached enough to get a true reading.
