You can produce less melanin if you do not stay out in the sun too often, because the sun radiation encourages the skin to produce more melanin, a pigment which makes your skin darker.
The dermatologists have some techniques to decrease melanin. It would be nice if they could decrease the amount in my skin and put it in my hair.
