How do you reformat Windows 98 SE?

In: Windows

Answer

start PC in DOS, if you hard drive is drive C then enter FORMAT C: it will prompt you that you will lose all information. type yes. after formating, either boot from the CD, to set Boot options it is in your PCs BIOS, it says something like change settings, when you start computer, then find boot, then set CD as primary Boot then hard drive. put windows disk as soon as you turn machine on and go from there, it is all self explanitory from there. if not while in DOS, change letter from C: to D: by typing in D: and punch in DIR. look for win 98,or setup. copy this, then enter it. it should start from there.
