The only possible way is to obtain a copy of the police report, if one was made, (it is a public document to which you are entitled) and IF it describes the method and the point of entry, use this as leverage against the insurance company's claim.
If they balk at payment, file suit against them and take them to court.
If the forced entry was necessary in order to help mitigate a covered loss (ex. fire) then yes it should be part of your claim.
