If it was the court that awarded the grandparents temporary custody there must have been a reason. If the court considered you not to be a "fit" parent at the time you may have to offer convincing evidence that you are NOW a fit parent. File a motion with the court to regain custody of the child(ren). If the custody was ruled only 'temporary' the court realizes that it is not necessarily permanent situation.
Generally when a person says they gave temporary custody to grandparents they actually mean to say they consented to the appointment of the grandparents as temporary guardians. The appointment is then made by the court. In that case the parties must return to court to terminate the guardianship order and the court will hear testimony to make certain the change is in the best interest of the child.
you don't. giving up or terminating your parental rights is forever. What are you trying to do. If you are trying to suspend child support for a time or need to give temporary custody of the child over to the other parent for a short time due to illness, school, business, and the like, file a "modification of final judgment of (paternity, divorce, etc) and request the change before the Judge. If the other party is in agreement, it can be done simply and at little cost to you with a stipulated agreement.
I think it depends on how long the mother will be incarcerated for. There might be a hearing giving the father temporary custody. But if the father ever tries to get full physical custody of the child in the future, it might not be good for the mother. However, she can never be refused visitation.
If the parents agree with the arrangement then that is possible. However, for the child's safety and best interest the grandparents should have the legal authority to arrange medical treatment and address school issues. You should consult with an attorney or other legal advocate.
Guardianship, not custody
dont give it away you will regret it and the grandparents would be so disapointed in you, giving up your child means you love the sex and not what happens at the end, iff you are giving up your child, why didnt you use pills or a condom, it is pathetic, please dont petray your child!
No.No.No.No.
The noncustodial parent would have to call the state's child abuse hotline and report this to them, and then await their instructions on how to gain custody of the child if they should be taken away from the parent.
can i get my kids from school if grandparents will not give my kids back after requrting kids back
Prove to the court that you are a more fit parent. Or have her give them back if she is willing. Other than that you are not getting them back.
The child's custodial parent could be held in contempt of court for failing to abide by court ordered visitation and incur a fine, jail time or both. If the problem becomes chronic, the courts may order a modification in custody, giving the non-custodial parent primary physical custody.
You go to a trolley stop go your grandparents house ask them if you can go to the store and then a limo with a uber connected to it will come to your grandparents house and take you to the store after giving you a million dollars.
Of course, but it best to do it using a mediator.
