Remove all the gas in the tank. Put the vehicle on a lift. Support the tank and remove two straps. Remove the filler hose from the tank. Slowly drop the tank until you can access the top. Remove the plastic lock on the wiring harness. Remove the wiring harness. Remove the pump outlet line and the gas return line. Mark them so you won't get confused. Drop the tank to the floor. Remove the lock ring lock. Using a spanner or 6 inch channel-lock pliers, rotate the lock ring counter-clockwise. Impart a downward pressure as the fuel pump is spring loaded. Pull up on the pump and remove. Replace with new gaskets and lock ring lock.

To remove the barrel you first pull back on the carrier finger latch and lock the bolt in the open position, then remove the magazine end cap. Remove the forend wood and then the gas cylinder collar (which may have stayed in the forend). The barrel can then be slid off. It now becomes a bit more complicated and I would recomend buying a copy of the "Gun Digest Book of Firearms Assembly Part 5: Shotguns" by DBI Books, inc. NOTE: Never allow the bolt to slam forward unless the barrel is locked in place!!!
You have to drop the gas tank in order to access the fuel pump. Once the tank it out you remove the lock ring that holds the pump and sending unit in. remove and then replace the pump and sending unit replace the gasket and lock ring and then reinstall the gas tank.

Yes, locate the gas meter for the residence in question and look for the valve which permits the gas to enter the meter. If the gas has been shut off by the gas utility, there will be a lock (usually a padlock) locking the valve in the closed position. The resident will usually have received a number of notices for non payment, and finally a notice of eminent shut off.
