Roaster liners are made of nylon not plastic but they will melt if the temp is too high. I filled the roaster with water poured in 2 large boxes of baking soda and stirred till it dissolved, turned it on 350 degrees for several hours. Turned it off and let it cool. The burned on nylon came off with my fingernail scratching. All I had was a green scratchy pad. A copper (or other metal) scratcher would have worked better. I got it all off; Yea!
